This year, THE Secondary Day is empowering the futures of New York youth through Fiver.
Kline Hill Partners - THE Secondary Day 2025
We’re thrilled to announce that Fiver Children’s Foundation has been selected as a charitable beneficiary of Kline Hill’s THE Secondary Day—a premier, three-day industry event that unites leaders from across the secondary private equity market to connect, collaborate, and give back. The Secondary Day, hosted annually by Kline Hill Partners, brings together participants from leading buy-side institutions, sell-side advisors, and secondary fund managers.
Four Fiver board members—Christina Bohm, Darren Schluter, Richard Golaszewski, and Brian Laureano—are active leaders in the secondaries space and passionate champions of Fiver’s mission. We’re excited to expand their impact by engaging a broader network within the industry. This incredible opportunity not only provides vital funding for our ten-year youth development model—it also helps amplify our mission, introduce Fiver to new supporters, and inspire the next generation of champion
Supporting Fiver Means Supporting Futures
Through a one-of-a-kind ten-year commitment, Fiver provides experiences that challenge and relationships that nurture so youth from systematically under-resourced communities in New York can create their own positive futures.
Through a decade-long journey of mentorship, academic support, career readiness, and immersive experiences, Fiver stands by each participant from age 8 through high school graduation—and beyond. At the heart of our program is Camp Fiver, where youth live and learn together each summer, celebrate milestones, build cross-age relationships, and participate in a wide range of enriching activities that foster confidence, connection, and growth.
Fiver’s year-round programs are grounded in social-emotional learning and development outcomes, integrating research-informed developmental stages and related evaluation metrics. Youth receive personalized one-on-one support from Fiver alumni, participate in college and career readiness activities, engage in family programs, and attend school-break mini-camps and social events. Over time, they develop a strong sense of self, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to environmental stewardship. Learn more about our programs and approach here.
This work is led by a diverse and dedicated team of youth development professionals who are trained and supported to deliver high-quality, responsive programming. The impact is clear in our alumni community of 700+ young adults—including public servants, educators, healthcare professionals, and students at top universities—many of whom return as mentors, staff, board members, and advisors.
