On October 3, friends, supporters, and neighbors gathered at Camp Fiver for our Annual Fall Fest. Together, we raised over $20,000, surpassing our $17,500 goal and supporting Fiver’s work with Central New York youth and families.
The evening began with dinner and drinks generously donated by our presenting sponsors, Michael’s Fine Food & Spirits and Hamilton Inn. Guests caught up with old friends and made new connections as live music filled the camp grounds. Our Penny Raffle featured a range of prizes donated by local businesses and community members, showcasing Central New York’s arts, dining, recreation, and more while raising additional support for Fiver.
One of the most meaningful moments of the evening came when Lilly, a current Fiver from Central New York, shared her experience in the program and reflected on what Fiver means to her. Her words brought the purpose of the evening into focus: supporting opportunities for young people to learn, build relationships, and shape their futures.
The celebration continued with our new Fall Fest After Party. DJ Sam Herbert kept the music going while guests enjoyed beer, wine, and s’mores, with generous support from Handsome Johnny’s Bar. Gathering around the fire gave everyone a chance to spend a little more time together and enjoy Camp after dark.
