Fiver kids participate in the Whole Self Program, a
unique character development program designed to empower
children to become contributing members and leaders
in the Fiver community and in their home communities.
Through group activities, discussion, and individual
goal-setting, the program promotes children's understanding
of and appreciation for the five qualities valued at
Fiver:
Friend
Individual
Valuable team player
Environmentalist
Risk Taker
These
characteristics and 12 associated values are reinforced
throughout the day at Camp Fiver through activities,
self-progress reports, and the thought for the day.
Campers are encouraged to be "Fivers" and
at the end of their session they are honored individually
for exhibiting one of the 12 associated values in
the Whole Self Ceremony.
