The Investment Camp program at the Fiver Children's Foundation is a personal finance education program for high school students taught by volunteers from Neuberger Berman and founded by Paolo Frattaroli, a Neuberger Berman senior executive and member of Fiver's Board of Directors. The program curriculum is designed to teach high school students about important financial metrics such as bank accounts, the importance of saving and preparing for future financial obligations, and concludes with an interactive stock-picking challenge. Throughout the program, students also interact with guest speakers in senior roles from various industries and academic disciplines.
Neuberger Berman's Investment Camp adds greater depth to the life skills that participants learn over the course of Fiver's 10 year program. High school students who attend Investment Camp's eight week course are engaged in interactive, real-world financial skills education workshops, and have the opportunity to expand their networks with leading financial professionals who volunteer their time to facilitate the program.
