Fiver’s Fall/Winter Programs: Bringing our Community Together

After a fun-filled summer, Fiver welcomed alumni, youth and families to several events, including our annual Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Party, Winter Holiday Celebration, and Alumni Weekend!

Fiver’s Halloween Party was a spooky and fun event filled with games, costumes, and, of course, lots of candy for our youth and families!  The evening culminated in a costume fashion walk to cheer on the creativity of our festive attendees! In November, we welcomed the Fiver community for a celebration of gratitude ahead of Thanksgiving. The potluck-style event brought families together to bond over cultural foods, gratitude activities, and arts and crafts. Our annual Winter Holiday Celebration brought participants and their families and alumni together to celebrate the holiday season and new year.

We started the new year with our annual alumni weekend! The festivities kicked off with our alumni dinner, where Fiver alumni from the past two decades reconnected and celebrated their shared memories of Fiver. The following day, the Alumni Induction Ceremony welcomed Fiver’s Class of 2023 graduates into our alumni network. Amber Del Moral, Class of 2013, served as a guest speaker at the event and reflected on her Fiver experience and the ten years since her graduation from the program. We concluded the weekend with a Fiver alumni happy hour event to toast to a successful weekend of fun, memories, and renewed Fiver spirit!
